Meduseld

The writer J.R.R. Tolkien created a whole world - a whole universe, in fact. This website, known as Meduseld is dedicated to Arda, that universe and to the books Tolkien wrote about it, from The Lord of the Rings to Unfinished Tales. As for Meduseld, it is the Golden Hall (and residence of the King of the Mark) in Edoras, the capital of Rohan.
I am your webmistress, Simbelmyne (or "Sim"), and I hope you enjoy browsing through everything we (that is to say, myself and Meduseld, which I think has developed a personality) have to offer via the navigation links. Welcome to Shadows of Twilight, a fan-site for Elrond Halfelven, Lord of Rivendell. There aren't many sites devoted to Elrond on the net, hence this shrine to a character I find increasingly fascinating. Elrond is a key figure in The Silmarillion, The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, but much of his own story remains untold, or is glimpsed only in fragments. Here you can find information on Elrond from Tolkien's books, as well as the recent movies. Visit the movies section for screencap galleries and soundfiles. You can also find a secion containing information and more images relating to Hugo Weaving, the actor behind Elrond in the films.
